Medellín is a cultural hub with a deep artistic tradition, reflected in its vibrant scene of painting, mural art, sculpture, and urban art. Over the years, great masters have left an indelible mark on the evolution of art in Medellín, solidifying its cultural identity and establishing it as a national and international benchmark. One of the city’s foremost artists is Fernando Botero, whose artistic legacy is on display at the iconic Plaza Botero, an open-air museum featuring monumental sculptures.
