Day 1:

You'll arrive by metro in Medellín's historic center, where you'll explore iconic landmarks and learn about the city's history, discovering how it has evolved from its founding to the present day. You'll experience the city's mass transit system, which will take you to Comuna 13, where you'll hear about the resilience of its residents during difficult times and witness the vibrant urban art scene in Medellín. Finally, at Mercados del Río, you can enjoy a unique culinary experience that fosters interaction between chef, food, and diner.

Day 2:

You'll head to the village of Santa Elena, where you'll board the Arví cable car and explore the park, enjoying the natural surroundings. You'll arrive at a silletero farm, where you'll learn about this culture and its traditions. At the farm, after listening to their stories, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to create a traditional silleta (flower arrangement) with the help of your guide. You'll return to the city to conclude your tour in grand style at the Flórez plaza, where expert hands will teach you how to create a colorful floral arrangement.  

Day 3:

We'll head towards Carmen de Viboral, a journey of no more than an hour. Here, you'll enjoy a city tour through the streets of this picturesque town and visit pottery workshops where you can observe the artisans at work. Afterward, you'll sample Bostonian beans, another way of preparing this typical Paisa dish. Finally, you'll admire the San Nicolás Valley from the La Florida viewpoint, and as evening falls, we'll return to Medellín..

Day 4:

You'll arrive in the town of Concepción, where you can admire grand gates, displaying the distinctive colors characteristic of Antioquian towns. This town boasts narrow cobblestone streets and magnificent colonial architecture dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. In this picturesque town, you can explore its natural swimming areas, a traditional sugar mill, and sample guava products, arepas en migas (corn cakes), agua panela (unrefined cane sugar water) with miguelucho (a local spiced drink), and enjoy a shot of Antioquian aguardiente (a strong alcoholic beverage) at a roadside inn..  

Day 5:

We'll head east to the town of Guatapé in Antioquia, stopping first to enjoy a delicious pandequeso (cheese bread) before arriving at the replica of the old Peñol. We'll take a boat trip across the reservoir before heading to the imposing Peñol rock and climbing its 720 steps. You'll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view before indulging in a generous bandeja paisa (a traditional Colombian platter) to replenish your energy. Upon arriving in Guatapé, we'll explore the streets in a tuk-tuk, allowing you to admire the colorful zócalos (decorated baseboards) at your leisure..
